GEBHARDT Motorsport once again has a packed schedule for the coming weekend. The Sinsheim-based racing team will be competing in the Prototype Cup Germany and the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
GEBHARDT Motorsport's global LMP3 program has another double header in store for the team. The racing team from Sinsheim will be competing simultaneously in the Prototype Cup Germany at the Red Bull Ring and in the Michelin Le Mans Cup at Silverstone in the UK.
End of season at the Red Bull Ring
GEBHARDT Motorsport is breaking new ground with the Prototype Cup Germany at the end of the 2025 season. For the first time, the German LMP3 championship, which is organized by the ADAC and the Dutch Creventic organization, will start at the Red Bull Ring. The high-speed circuit is world-famous, primarily for its annual Formula 1 races.
GEBHARDT Motorsport will compete with a Duqueine D08 on the Austrian Grand Prix circuit. Michael Herich and Mikkel C. Johansen will pilot the French LMP3 car in Styria. The goal of the driver duo led by gentleman driver Herich is to end the season on a high note in the mountains.
“Unfortunately, our season in the Prototype Cup Germany did not go as we had hoped,” says Fritz Gebhardt, summing up the season. “Even though our speed was mostly very good, for various reasons it wasn't enough to defend our title. Unfortunately, we can only compete with one car in the season finale, as our #1 is on its way to the USA and the #11 has a crack in the monocoque after the heavy accident at the Nürburgring.”
The two approximately one-hour races of the Prototype Cup Germany will take place on Saturday at 11:40 and on Sunday at 16:35 o´clock. Interested fans can follow the races via worldwide livestream on YouTube.

GEBHARDT Motorsport aims to continue upward trend at Silverstone
Silverstone will host the fifth race weekend of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, where GEBHARDT Motorsport will compete with a brand-new Duqueine D09 of the latest LMP3 generation. Last year's Prototype Cup Germany champion Valentino Catalano and Oscar Tunjo, considered one of the fastest LMP3 drivers in the world, will be at the wheel.
The former Group C team is looking to continue its upward trend in the Michelin Le Mans Cup at the home of British motor racing. Catalano and Tunjo finished a strong third in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. Tunjo also impressed recently at Spa-Francorchamps with a third place on the grid, but after being hit by a competitor, he was forced to retire from the Ardennes rollercoaster through no fault of his own.
The 110-minute race on the traditional circuit starts on Saturday at 17:45 o´clock The race of the international LMP3 racing series – considered one of the world's strongest LMP3 championships – can also be watched in full on YouTube.
