GEBHARDT Motorsport will compete in the IMSA VP SportsCar Challenge in 2026 with a strong line-up of drivers. Jérémy Siffert will join the team for the season opener in Daytona.
GEBHARDT Motorsport will also compete in the IMSA VP SportsCar Challenge in 2026. After the Sinsheim-based racing team won the LMP3 championship title in both the drivers' and team standings with Valentino Catalano in 2025, the traditional team will also compete in the IMSA championship in 2026. The racing team will field two Duqueine D08s for the entire season. There will be three classifications in total: in addition to the overall classification from all races, separate sprint and endurance classifications will also be announced.
With Oscar Tunjo, who will drive the #1 car, and American Danny Soufi, who will pilot the #11 car, GEBHARDT Motorsport has signed two of the fastest LMP3 drivers in the world. Tunjo is entering his second season with the team, while Soufi – who became the 2025 Prototype Cup Germany champion – is entering his first full year with the team.

In addition, GEBHARDT Motorsport will field a third Duqueine at the season opener in Daytona, which will be driven by Swiss driver Jérémy Siffert, the grandson of Jo Siffert. Jo Siffert, who died in a Formula 1 accident at Brands Hatch in 1971, enjoyed great success in sports car racing in the USA with Porsche. In 1968, he won the 24 Hours of Daytona with Vic Elford, Jochen Neerpasch, Rolf Stommelen and Hans Herrmann in a Porsche 907 and, a few weeks later, also triumphed with Hans Herrmann in the 12 Hours of Sebring.
"We are very pleased that Jérémy will continue to race for us after impressing with his speed in the 2025 Prototype Cup Germany. With Jérémy, we are continuing the GEBHARDT Young Driver Academy, having recently celebrated numerous successes with Valentino Catalano. I am sure that we will have a lot of fun with him in the USA, where his grandfather achieved many successes!" said Fritz Gebhardt. "Oscar and Danny will compete for us in the IMSA VP SportsCar Challenge for the entire season. Both drivers have a wealth of experience in LMP3 racing and have established themselves as lightning-fast drivers in recent years. This, combined with our experience from last year, makes us very confident for the coming season!"

The IMSA VP SportsCar Challenge will have a new look for the coming year, as the racing series will feature endurance races for the first time in addition to the usual sprint races. Over six race weekends, the championship will, as usual, hold two 45-minute sprint races and one lap, which will continue to take place as part of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the NASCAR Cup Series. In addition, four two-hour races will be held at USAC events. American Jacob Williamson, who competed in European Radical racing in 2025, will compete alongside Danny Soufi – Jérémy Siffert will partner Oscar Tunjo in the two-hour races.
